Well, after a couple on months searching for the perfect fiver in my budgeted price range, last night I purchased a 2007 Jayco Eagle 291 RLTS.
Now the search begins for a diesel truck to replace my beloved gas powered aging Chevy Silverado 2500.

Welcome to the Jayco family...

Well you bought the right TT...

Now as for a diesel there is lots to look at... I hate to say it but I'm totally biased to Dodge Cummins so if you want to know about them I'm more than willing to help out with picking a Dodge Cummins...:D

Congratulations on the new trailer. What ever truck you decide on, with a three slide trailer don't over look a 1 ton single rear wheel truck. I also have a Cummins but all three make good trucks, except for the Ford 6.0. Go to some forums and do your homework.

Ford bought back my 2003 & 2004 6.0 Power Strokes. Had to Lemon Law both of them. Nice trucks, crappy motors.

Congrats on your Jayco. You will like it. Dodge and Ford does make some pretty good "pullers" but don't forget to consider the Chevy or GMC Duramax with the Allison transmission. You definately cannot go wrong with this combo. Happy camping.

Welcome to the forum! You might want to check out Trailer Life mag which had an article comparing three of the 3/4 ton trucks.
