I made it 22 months ago Gone Camping. You know you are officially retired when you forget what day it is. It took me about a year. Now I don't know most of the time unless I look at my smart phone. Yes I have a smart phone. You can't give up technology, but I'm trying.

Please let me know how it feels. I can`t even begin to contemplate retirement. I was at the dumpstation last Summer talking to a guy who was dumping next to me. I said well, back to work tomorrow. He looked at me, grinned, and said "I feel for ya". The look on his face said it all. He was lovin` retirement.

I retired May 1, 2004. How sweet it is! Like they say, time flies when you're having fun camping.

I retired June 11th of 2010 and haven't worn a wrist watch since. Be careful as the honeydo list will get bigger. Stay active any enjoy your retirement:D.

December of 05 for me. I can't keep track of the time nor day of the week any more and don't intend to. My wife tries to keep track for me. She calls it quits the end of this June. Then we can really hit the road.
For all of you still employed, hopefully your time will come!

Congrats Gone Camping! Not sure if I'll ever retire, but my work isn't too bad. And I can do it pretty much anywhere my travel trailer is parked, so it gives me something to do when I'm seeing new sights.

How many more days now? :)
