I got tired of my wood for leveling and for my stabilizers in my pass thru or the back of my truck so I made a rack for under the trailer to hold it. It holds 3 2x6 for leveling 1 laying flat and 2 standing up in back of rack, and 8 4x4 for stabilizers. I own a powder coat shop so I powder coated it, will never have to worry about rust.

Like this idea. I too tired of the wood in the back of my truck. However will need it a little larger basket. I am using 6-6X6 with handles for my stabilizers.

I would certainly buy one, I really like this idea and could be used for so many things, with an added cargo net nothing would ever fly out!

The picture looks like it is attached to the frame. Don't know and he has not responded.

I looked under my camper where he attached his and it would be tough to do there. Anybody have any ideas how it's done?

It would be really nice if it would slide out. It looks to be stationary and he squeezes it in one at a time. Great idea.

Look at how the stairs are attached - bolted on with a piece of angle iron - should be easy.

I have a brother in law who did something similar only he had 2 4' X 8' wooden decks that he used as a portable "patio". It worked well for him. I've thought about doing something similar but am concerned about the weight.

Sorry about not getting back to this, I forgot all about it. It is bolted to the frame, I will get a pic of it tomorrow to show you and get into more details.

Ok here is a pic of it attached to the frame. Mine will hold a 47 1/2" board. I would think different trailers the spacing would be different, so some might hold longer boards. I am looking into making these to sell, I am checking with a company I do work for to price the material out as the buy in bulk. As I said I own a powder coat company so I can do them in any color. Just have to figure out how to sell to the public, and maybe get in with an RV manufacturer. Also I thought I got stainless bolts but I guess not. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o276/walleyejoe/IMG_20120209_132545.jpg

It is an amazing idea to have this kind of rack under the trailer. I will surely imitate that for myself. It would be a great idea to start manufacturing this kind of rack because i am sure others will buy it. So do think about it.

Just this evening, I was trying to figure out where to store my boards. I could use a rack, or two like that.

I really like that rack and design, good job! Heres my poor mans version of this. Had to mount on the A frame due to my TT rides pretty low as it is.
