Looking at new 24T and have question regarding the TT roof. A competitor....Heartland North Trail, talks about their roof construction...and how many people can walk on it without a problem. They have picture of a bunch of people standing on roof etc. I was curious about Jayco strength. Any problem with a large person ...say 250 lbs on roof?
Just wanted to know if this construction feature is a big deal or hype.

I have a jay feather and I can walk on mine with no problem. Some roofs are not made to be walked on. It's suggested in those type of roofs to place a sheet of plywood down to spread the weight over a larger area. Because the Jayco roof is vacuum sealed as well, it can withstand being walked on. When I'm up there I'm careful of where I walk and keep everything organized so as not to have an accident or cause any damage.
I've seen the pictures of lots of people on the roof and multiple water jugs. Sure some of it is hype, but generally you get what you pay for. I'm not planning on having water jugs or a bunch of people on my roof but I am concerned about how it will hold up over the years and is it constructed in such a fashion that the water will not pool on it.
I compared the builds of each trailer I was interested in and overall the one I liked best was Jayco. There are other manufactures that make good trailers aside from Jayco. Vacuum sealed walls roof and floor partially sold me on buying our trailer. I also liked the interior cabinets and furniture.

I have a 24T. I love it. Roof is fine, just have to use a ladder because mine doesn't have one attached.
