Looks good! Where did you get the towel bar style handle for the inside of the screen door? Every time I go to Menards I forget to look for something that might work.

Thanks - yes, that worked for me.

I like the screen door lever and have the same one...what a great little addition. I also really like the spring on the door and will likely follow you here and do it myself. Kids tend to leave doors open expecting they will close by themselves.

Nice work - like the shower dispenser too.

What's up with the foam rubber floor pads / play mats that you've got stored near the aft bunk? Just curious.

BTW: If you open the head door, and one closet door, you can get 100% privacy without the curtain. That's how we isolate our son in the aft bunk from the noise & light forward when he goes to bed.

BTW: The Camco door thingy is awesome. We have one and love never having to slide the panel to open the door.

The screen door spring is fantastic no more telling the kids close the door!

We use the foam mats under the mattress.

We use the foam mats under the mattress.

Another one I might copy...It seems the mattresses would be almost perfect if they had just a little something extra under them that could not fully compress.

I've been thinking about what to add / how to make it better and foam toppers etc just didn't seem right. How much better would you say it is with the mats underneath?

Thanks!

DH would compress the mattress over the night and was uncomfortable Now with the mats he said it is more comfortable. He no longer feels like his hip is on the metal. We started searching for an option and this seemed like the best as they don't take up as much space as a toppers and we thought they also may help insulated the mattress from the metal fold down and they made it more comfortable.

Thanks - That is what I was hoping to hear; that his hip didn't feel like it was resting on the hard bottom. That is what I am looking for and your solution looks good and as you say "easy to store".

The screen door opener looks like a very simple item on Camco's website. Does it just push down on the latch lever when you lift it? Or is it attached to the lever?

How about a picture of the opener from the outside of the door?

Yes Macfarmall it is simple just drill a hole in the screen door sliding panel and it just sticks through and then pushes on the lever on the outside of the door.

Thanks for the photo Mustang!! I have some extra rubber grommets that I bought at Menards yesterday for my stove grate. They have a 1/4" hole through the middle. A short piece of 1/4" stainless steel tubing with a postage stamp sized scab welded on one end and a rubber tiparillo on the other and I'm in business!!

I hate buying anything that I can make myself.

Yes after we order it it was so simple we thought we could have just made something for it

For the $5 it cost, I'm glad I didn't spend the time fabricating it. Great mod. Highly recommended. Congrats to the patent holders.

paper towel holder is just a cheap household one screwed into the cabinet. The level I think we picked up at a Rv supply store.
