We've always stayed up here in the Rockies because I love winter as much as our summers. But to be fair to my DW, we're going to give the Phoenix area, where we've got kids and grandkids, a shot for a month or so. We stopped at Denali in Apache Junction on our way home early this year. I liked the blue collar flavor it seemed to have, the lady who showed us around was very nice and the pool, activities room, etc., were clean and nice. But now I've heard that the Arizonian, which I think is nearby, is situated so we could drive our ATVs right out of the RV park and onto trails. It's a bit more expensive and its website doesn't really give you much of an idea of where the RVs sit. I'm hoping some of you have an opinion of either of these parks. Thanks, if you do. If you can recommend another park where ATVs can be driven right into trails without being trailered, that would be great, too.

Never stayed at either place but did you know that in Az if your ATV's have working signal brake lights they can be driven on the roadways? Not sure about lic requirements tho.

You know, I know AZ ATVs can get licensed for road use and I think, but need to verify, we can operate on FRs or state off road trails if we're properly set up in Colorado, which means buying a public lands sticker every year. But good point, I need to see what's what. I have thought of registering our ATVs in AZ using one of our children's addresses.

Our Rhino is street legal in most of Idaho and we have never been stopped for driving it in Az. We stay on the West side of the state and ride from our park.

Stop lights, horn, license, insurance, good to go. To register it in Az you have to change the title to Az.
