The snowbird migration has started in our park. Several friends have left and we are now seeing lots of people passing through. The weather is not good at home so we are staying a few more weeks.

They're nuts! 80 degree weather in AZ is much more pleasant that 70 degree weather in places where the humidity is higher. I've seen mild winters suddenly turn cold late in Spring. I was up in Evanston, WY almost two years ago and, after a comparatively mild (by WY standards) winter, they actually got 2" of snow the morning of May 22nd. We saw light snow flurries off and on all day long although nothing was sticking after that morning's snow (the wind was bitter cold, too). They were supposed to get a repeat on May 23rd but we blew town at o'dark thirty in the morning before it happened. This was unusual even for Wyoming (and Evanston gets "milder" weather that the rest of WY).

Then there was the little winter storm AZ had last weekend that dumped more snow and rain in two days than we received in any one storm the entire winter. (Btw, my sister in Lubbock, TX, says thank you for the rain we sent them).

Welcome back!!!! I guess my call to Border Services went unanswered as I was so looking forward to hearing your rants about the treatment especially when Bubba gave you the rubber glove treatment, while you went through secondary.:hihi:

 I didn't know I had left town, let alone the country.

I remember about 8-10 years ago, the AZ Ren Fest fairgrounds east of A.J. got snow in early April. I missed it because I was driving through a snow storm on the I-5 south of Grapevine at the time. I made a pit stop in Gorman and the local yokels said it was very unusual to get snow that time of year.

We will still be in Parker for another two weeks. Then we will slowly work our way to North Idaho. It is raining and flooding there right now.

I handed the little girl my list of purchases (under $600.00) she looked at it smiled sweetly said "welcome home" and waved me through... Would have let her check me with her rubber glove all day... ROTFLOL

Mother Nature has a sense of April Fools humor. Got up, made coffee, let dogs out. Into an inch of snow!

DW's garden book says we have never had frost after March 24! All the old timers are scratching their heads. And I'm one of them.
