Ok. As stated in the title, I recieved word today from my dealer that my 2010 199 has to be sent back to Jayco to have floor replaced due to a leak on the rear exterior panel where it meets the floor behind 2 decorative tail light housings. Appears to have "Wicked" thru the end of the floor.
Now Im kinda aggravaited that a 2 year old camper has to be totally dismantled.
I talked to the dealer about a trade in and was informed that all they can allow is normal trade in value but would work with me as best they can. We shall see I guees.
My question is has anyone had a similar problem and what of the possability of calling Jayco themselves in hopes they may take some kind of action other than warranty? Sorry 2 questions.
Of course the dealer says Jayco would repair it free of charge but this is the 3rd problem Ive had with it. (1) was a bad ground fault recepticle (minor repair) and (2) brake shoes seperated from backing plate. (May be minor but was major to me). DW seems to thinks we shouldn't have a problem with upgrading to a little bigger camper with this problem being a bargaining chip so to speak. Looking at a 228.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Personally, I'd have Jayco repair it on their dime, then look to sell it privately. Shame to lose a season of camping, though....best of luck...

Thanks
They allready said its a repair that would happen during the winter so I wouldn't lose camping time.
