My First Snow in my Designer

I went out and drained the black and gray tanks this morning and topped off the fresh water tank. Unhooked my fresh water hose and pressure regulator and put them in the basement and put a trash can full of insulation over the water faucet. I have over 100 gallons of propane in the big tank and plenty of food.
Come on down. I'm ready.

Ed, from a former PTC resident, its too cold in Alabama also! They are talking mid teens here the next two nights w/a 15-20MPH kicker puts wind chill around zero. Not back above freezing until Wednesday afternoon.

But we live in the "sunny south" and won't be long until we are complaining about the high humidity!

Gawd, I love the central coast of California.... although we do have to travel four hours to get to play in the snow

We didn't get enough snow to do anything but be seen as it fell. The forecast for this morning was 20 degrees and it was only 27. Tonight maybe another story however with a prediction in the high teens, but then that is the forecast. How would you like a job where you are wrong 90+ percent of the time and get paid good money and be on TV every evening?

Sorry.. I "played in the snow" for 38 years delivering the mail....the only place I want to see snow now is on the mountain tops west of me OR in my snow cone
LOL

I don't have a love affair with snow either. Tonight is forecast to be 16 degrees, but I still have a full fresh water tank, empty gray and black tanks and plenty of propane. Bring it on. I was nice and toasty last night.
I am really liking this polar package and dual pane windows. I read a lot of posts from people with internal moisture on windows, ceilings, and walls. I have yet to have any at all. I do turn on the exhaust vent and fan in the bath when I take a shower, but other than that, I don't vent at all and absolutely zero condensation.
Lucky I guess.
