How about an anti snowbird forum for those of us that stay in the south in the summer?

Or maybe a half anti snowbird. I will stay south in the summer, but I'm definitely not going north in the winter. Central Alabama is as far north as I will go in the winter.

My husband says it's a "Robin", I say it's a "Canada Goose".

A little early for me as we have to have Christmas here. I would like to leave about the 15th of Jan. and spend 2 months in Yuma. I have to find a new spot as I have had a falling out with my late brothers wife (no idea what happened) so am looking for another site. I would really like to find and even buy a lot at Los Amigoes in Yuma, but one without a park model on it. I should have offered to buy the lot I stayed on while in Yuma but I never thought I would have problems with her and was going to talk to her about buying when we got home from our trip............ Oh well!!!!

Has anyone spent much time at Borrego Springs Ca?
Borrego Springs State park is beautiful if you like the desert.
Lots of dry camping & one part of the park has a full hookup campground.
The Springs at Borrego is a nice RV golf resort. Kinda of pricey.
A lot of different things to do in the area.
In the summer the temp will hit 115*.
Just remember it's the desert & it can get windy.
But is well worth the visit.

We stay in Borrego a couple of times a year in the winter.
Slab City is quite a place. Everyong should visit at least once. It has a little bit of everything.
