Allentown KOA or Delaware Gap KOA

Has anyone stayed at either of these two KOA campgrounds? If so, I'd appreciate your comments or reviews.

I never stayed at the koa but I stayed at an uncles place near Allentown. There was free electric, free water and all the food you could eat.

Sounds like a winner. Please send the phone number and address for uncle's place. Haha

I have not stayed at either, but I have had a look at the Delaware Water Gap KOA. It is a KOA. The sites toward the back were a little bigger and seemed quieter. The place I like that is close by is in the Delaware National Recreation Area. They added electric to some of the sites last year and the sites are not as close as the KOA. I don't remember if they have sewer sites or not.

I'm just looking for a spot to spend the night besides WM while I make my way north. My needs are few. Quiet, comfortable, and with basic amenities (H2O and electric) so I can get out early in the am.

I would think that the Dingmans Campground in the park would be quieter than the KOA, but I have not stayed at either campground.

This is the link for Dingmans. Where are you headed?

Thanks... I'll check that one out. We're headed to Cape Cod first...then on to Maine. It's almost here!

I am going to Acadia NP the end of July early August for 9 nights. I have 2 weeks of vacation, but I am not sure where else I will be camping.

I know. I try to get up there every other year, on average. I love Blackwoods campground in the NP.
