Blue Lake, WA

Has anyone gone camping around this area in the last few years?

I used to go every year as a kid but the old camp ground has turned into more of a 'rent a mobile' type place it seems.

Blue Lake Resort in Coulee City is where we used to go. Man how things change with time.

That Coulee Corridor Scenic Byway is a beautiful drive and stop over for a night or two. Lots of history on how that mini Grand Canyon was formed. It's known as "Dry Falls" and I think it was the longest falls in the world at one time but check me on that one. I stayed at a camp ground just up the road from the one your talking about(I think). It was at the Vic Meyers Gulf Course if you can call it that. I wouldn't hull my clubs 100 miles to play but it's a neat area to visit and bring your own food because there's nothing around there. I didn't fish in the many lakes in the area but many do and I think that's the big attraction.

We sometimes camp at Steamboat rock state park in that area - it's a great park - just a little longer drive for you.... http://www.parks.wa.gov/590/Steamboat-Rock

Awesome, thank you for all the help and suggestions. It's always nice getting opinions of places from others so you have a good idea of what to expect going into something.
