Campground Guide Book

Hello, new to the RV scene. Wife and I hope to start traveling this fall. Is there a go to guide book with campground, service stations, sightseeing, etc that we should purchase? The Internet is great for specific info but I'm hoping there is something we could drag along with us. We plan to start in the Mid West as my folks live in Michigan. Plan to work our way to Colorado and then back to Texas which is where we live. Wasn't sure if there are regional guides or entire US. I seem to recall my folks having something years ago that was very helpful. Any help would be appreciated.

How about this:

If you have a smart phone, download the RV Parky app and check out RVparky.com

Online

We found an old rv campsite guide in Harvey the RV when we bought him and immediately tossed it. Best way to do it is to look online. Up to date and pretty honest reviews we have found.

App called "AllStays Pro" is $10 (at least that's what I paid years ago) and shows a wealth of info.

I use 4 online websites for almost everything when planning and traveling:

Recreation.gov - the best place to find federal campsites, etc.
Recreation.gov

Reserve America - state parks
Reserve America

Trip Advisor - restaurants and things to do.
Trip Advisor

The Google

X2 on both RV Park Reviews and Allstays.

And I just got an e-mail from RV Park Reviews that they finally have an App. I downloaded it and it looks really good!
I've found this site has the best reviews because they are curated - which keeps the junk out.
