Carolina low country fishing advice

Finally next week vacation is here!! Several short local trips have kept me sane but it's been a long seven months since we spent a week at Gulf State Park. As a land locked lake and stream fisherman I need tips for fishing the tidal creeks etc. about eight miles inland at James Island Count Park South Carolina. My only experience fishing coastlines has been in places like Apalachicola Bay fishing the bay and flats for redrums, weakfish and such. Although I truly believe a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work I'm clueless what to fish for and what bait and techniques to use. Please offer any and all advice that's out there for me.

Thanks!!X10

Haven't fished in the Carolina's. We fished some tidal creeks in Florida and caught pan size fish that are a close relative to blue gills. Only red in color. Delicious table fare!!! We used night crawler and bobbers. Real complicated

Know I can handle that, long as I don't get too drunk to fish!!!
