Corbin KOA is open all year, we've stayed there numerous times. Since your coming down I-75 I would consider Casey Jones or In and Out. We've never stayed there, but know people who have. They are both right off 75 so you don't have the extra driving on I-10. As to getting the rig washed we use the truck wash at Cordelle, GA exit 97. Also if you have a brush, bucket and energy DISNEY lets you wash it at your site.

washing it myself is not a issue, im just more concerned about the heat and want to get the salt off before i get down there, but i do like a clean rig so i may give them another wash when i get down there

i will look into those places to stay

No. However if you do online check in you can request the loop you would prefer, but it is only a request.

We stayed there the summer before last and it was awesome! It was our first real long trip with the Jayco and it did great. Great park and yes... very clean!

Oh they are the perfect age now. We went our first time when our youngest was just shy of being 3. And our oldest had just turned 7.

We went for Spring Break of last year, we liked it so much we returned in the summer. (4400 miles total) We are hooked. Definitely visit the 400 loop and say hey to our very own Grumpy, he has the pleasure of calling the fort home for a few months...

So much to do, just don't forget to relax.

Just booked 7 days at the Fort! The kiddos are excited. But November will take awhile.

And when you get there, your good times will be beginning...
... and ours will have just ended.

What are the site differences from preferred to full hook up? Are the preferred full hook up as well?

The way I read it, preferred sites are full hookups and they're just a little closer to everything in the campground. Maybe a little less walking?

Again, just inferring that from reading as I haven't been there yet. Grumpy (and others here) can give you much better info. I believe he's actually there now. [emoji41]

I think the differences are mostly in the size of the concrete pad.

The site is vary vague for a multi billion dollar company. As long as I have electric water and dump, its all good !! I am only 1229 miles away, we might try it soon while the kids still want too..

As was mentioned the "Prefered" sites are loops 100-200 and 300(pet loop) and they are closer to the Marina/Stettlement than the full hook-up sites 1600-1900. As to pad size and amenities(water elec sewer cable) they are basically the same and both have concrete pads as well as coquina (sand) pads. However since100-300 are the original sites they are much closer together than 1600-1900 so backing in can be more of a challenge. The full hook-up sites are closer to the pool, movie and Sing-along than 100=300.

Premium sites (400-1400) all have large concrete pads (no coquina) and have been re-worked to accomodate the bigger rigs. 400-500 & 700 are as close to the Marina as 100-300.

We stayed on little bear path site number 1454 wich is a premium site. We got a premium because we where told that the sites can be a little tight. Our TT is a little over 36 feet long. we had to park our truck kind of catty corner to get it out of the rd. Awesome site but still kind off tough to get backed into.
