I have been to Hat Creek but not this RV park, sorry no info. You might want to check the fire situation before you go. There is a fire at Lassen National Park and Hat Creek could be very smokey.

Thanks.

We've been in touch with the folks at the RV Park and asking about smoke was one of my questions.

Their response;

Quote:
We are getting a lot of smoke. Most days now we are getting ash also.
Anyone had a chance to stay at this RV Park?

Ok we have never stayed there like I said but after looking at the link you posted we have been by that place many times. Its right off highway 89. So with being said and looking at the pic's on the link I would say that the pic's look a little nicer than the RV park. But the fishing is about the best in the area. I dont know if that helps and I certainly dont want to discourage you from going because it is a nice area.

At least they were up front about the fires and smoke. It looks like a nice park. Give us a report if you use it.

We are going...this is a trip with our group...11 rigs signed up. With 'some rain' in the forecast maybe it will get some of that smoke and ash down and help the people fighting the Chips fire...it's a huge one!!

Yes, we are bringing our fishing gear.

Will be taking pics.

Have a great time!

We have been to Rancheria RV park in that area and loved it.
