Well, we got back home yesterday afternoon late after having a great trip!

The park is really pretty and well maintained. Generally the campsites we looked at were really nice... of course some better than others. We stayed in 58 and were very happy with that site. We were not right on the lake but one of the families in our group had a lake spot so we all kept our kayaks there without having to disturb anyone. RV sites have water and electricity and there is a centrally located dump station so we had the opportunity to use our new waste hauler and am happy to report that it worked ok! The lake is beautiful and there was some wildlife to see. Ducks, Geese, a few deer, and one of our neighbors even had a pet monkey! There are also several nice, clearly marked hiking trails that visitors can take advantage of... we chose not to do that on this trip as we spent most of the time in the water (on kayaks). I highly recommend this park and we will definitely go back.

This was only the second time we had or 26BH out so we got a good chance to really try everything out and I am happy to report that everything worked flawlessly. Mostly I am real happy the AC worked because it was rather warm and humid. I spent the hottest part of Wednesday doing a couple of mods... added a cutoff to the stock shower head, hung up the paper towel holder, and finished the TV mount in the bedroom. I did not bring the satellite system on this trip but will on the next. I have attached a few pics, so I hope that works...

Wow, what a beautiful way to enjoy a sunset than in a kayak! Thanks for sharing the pics. I miss kayaking. We haven't taken ours out since our last trip through the South a year ago. However we did do a kayak tour (rental) down the river through downtown Chicago last Sept. That was a really kewl trip. I will have to remember to ask you about good kayaking spots next time we travel through Texas!
