Kerrville Schriener Park

Last weekend we stayed at Kerrville Schriener park in Kerrville, TX. The park is separated in two parts (Bisected by hwy 173). There is river access on one side and the other side is up on a hill across hwy 173. We stayed on the hill as it is a little more quiet, in fact we had the place pretty much to ourselves in deerfield loop. Full hookups with lots of shade trees and in the evenings deer were coming right into the camp. (Even though we were cooking venison!) We didn't bring the kayaks this time, instead we did some hiking, dutch oven cooking, and a lot of relaxing. A real clean park for $21 per night... we stayed for 3 nights.

We also stayed there, on the riverside. You can't stay right on the water though. Next time we will definetly stay across the highway. It is really a nice campground.
