Lithia Springs FL

Second outing, first real camping trip
First one was to Orlando to an RV resort...

Lithia Springs FL just east of Tampa has a spring with water at a year round temperature of 72 degrees. Very nice during the hot FL summers...

Here she is set up in our regular slot #3...

From 33549

I would camp at Fort Desoto, Crystal River and was on a first name basis with the folks at Fort Wilderness. Oh, how I miss that!

Now I'm frozen solid in Central PA

Any gators in the spring? Always worried about any water in Florida, maybe I have been watching too many episodes of Swamp People.

Fort Desoto is great just really hard to get in

Bird dog,
Not really any gators at this camping areas.
Main thing is to leave them alone and they will leave you alone.
Issues start when people feed the gators and then the associate people with food...

We leave Thurs. for 3 1/2 weeks in central Fl. We have 2 weeks at Rainbow Springs SP. One of our favorites.
