March 28-30, 2014 Eastern PA - cg open near hiking spots?

We want to camp the last weekend in March to celebrate my birthday. PA state park campgrounds don't open til the first weekend in April. Can anyone recommend private campgrounds that will be open the last weekend in March that are close to hiking? Our kids love to hike where there are rocks that they can climb. Must be within 2-hour drive of Philadelphia.

Thx!
Adina

There are a number of campgrounds in SE PA that are open all year according to the PA Campground Owners Association (PCOA).

Here's the link: http://pacamping.com/

Then, mouse over "FIND A CAMPGROUND" for the drop down list, then mouse over "Search By Region" for its drop down list and click on "Region 6 - Southeastern Pennsylvania".

The dates of operation are displayed at the bottom of each campground's listing.

Good Luck! Hope it stops snowing here by then so you can at least find the rocks, much less the trail.
