Mount Morrow State Park NC

I want to start this thread by saying I have been camping, including backpacking, tent camping, and RV camping for 50 years. I have camped in most US states, Canada, and Mexico. I have NEVER complained about a park. I have NEVER felt more unwelcome than at Mount Morrow State Park in North Carolina. The other guests were fairly friendly, but the best from an employee, except the garbage man and cleaning lady were neutral answers to questions. We received sarcasm and smart-alec comments from all employees, and the Campground host. no words of welcome, no how are you doing, no smiles. I should also note that I have worked at 3 state parks and state wildlife management areas, and I know what that kind of work is like. We won't be back. Just thought you would like to be warned.

Thanks for the info. I would suggest you taking the time to make a comment /review on www.campgroundreviews.com. Maybe even on the NC state tourism site.

I might add that we have camped in a small number of NC state parks and never had that experience.
