My home away from home...Palo Duro Canyon

For those of you who have been to Palo Duro State Park in the TX Panhandle, you know what I mean. This place is by far, my favorite place to camp. We only live about 1.5 hrs from there and since the temps lately have been ridiculously low, I have been daydreaming a little I must admit- when I should be studying

Anyway, here are some pics from out last outing there.

Hello WestTX from another West Texan that has camped at Palo Duro as well. Yes it is a nice place and we are just waiting for April so we can return there. We also frequent Roaring Springs a few times per year. PD is definately one of my favorite places to spend a weekend.

Wow, I live 30 minutes from RS! Been there a couple of times, but as a guest only. We are planning a trip in March or April to Palo Duro, maybe we will see you there. Just look for our setup! We always stay in the Mesquite loop.
