Just wondering if anyone has been camping for the race at MIS. Which campground would you recommend with children? Any good pictures. Anyone going to the June race? What activities are their to do for the kids? Thanks for the help. Richard

Whoops pushed the wrong button-- Check out "Michagian International Speedway"It gives you all the track camping info. I was there 6 yrs ago and there was absolutly nothing for kids to do. Unless a lot has changed the track is so far from civilization, the cows don't even show up. On the good side it is a great place to see and watch a race. the country side (and there is a lot of it) is beautiful. We were lucky that the famous "Woodward Ave". cruise was taking place that weekend, 8 miles of 4 lane road & along both sides filled with muscle cars, customs & hot rods & very few police cars equals a few smoke shows. We also went to the Ford Museum which was awesome. You should have a good time at MIS NO MATTER WHATS GOIN ON. LARRY

shroomtrippen-- The Woodward Ave cruise ( Aug 18) and the August race( Aug 19) are the same weekend. The Ford Museum would still be a great visit. (its not all cars) Larry

Mis

We have used the Turn Two Retreat Campground twicw and will return this August. It is a pretty good place but primarily a party atmosphere and few youngsters although they would be welcome. Check the other sires offered at MIS camping.
