Normandy Farms - Tailgating???

I am in the process of planning a sports weekend and am looking for some advice from the Football fans out there. The first weekend in October I am bringing 4 guys down to Normandy Farms. We are going to watch the Friday/Saturday Baseball games to hopefully see our Blue Jays clinch the East at Fenway... Nothing quite like whooping it up in Enemy territory

On Sunday we will be heading over to Gillette to see the Pats beat up on the Bills.

My question is the tailgating... I know we are three miles from the Stadium, so I am guessing we will not be the only people staying at Normandy Farms to see the game. Is there enough of a Football party at Normandy to do the tailgating there. Or do we need to pile into the Toad and head over to the parking lot to see the real scene... If my question seems odd... Please remember Tailgaiting is literally a Foriegn concept to us Canucks, our uptight liquor laws mean we do all our drinking in the Stadium! And my problem is motivated by the size of my Toad... It is a Chevy Sonic... So not a lot of room for 5 men, a BBQ, a cooler of beer and lawn chairs for all!

Tailgating happens right in Gillette parking lot. Best place to be!
I'm not sure if much serious partying happens at Normandy farms.
Not everyone there goes to the games so they're probably happy the people stay at Gillette to party.

Have a great trip!

I'm sure you meant the Bills beating up on the Pats!
