Paradise Park Resort, Old Orchard Maine

We are looking for a great campground, near an ocean beach for a week long vacation in August. We are in Upstate NY so the closest ocean is going to probably New England. Anyone have any good locations?

Paradise Park Resort has great reviews and we are looking for some thoughts and feedback. We have 4 kids under 8 and a small dog. We are likley purchasing a new 31QBDS (35' long).

Bayleys is Great!
Nice pools and playgrounds for the kids.
They have free trolleys every half hour that bring you to and from the beach.

Bayley's looks great. Any recommendations on good sites? Ideally, we'd like a large, full hook up, with privacy but not too far from a pool or playground.

Make sure you bring Canadian dollars (if you have been there you will get the humor). Large and Privacy are not an option. But it is a nice place.

We find the 'C' road the most private and is shaded which is nice in the summer, and its a quick walk to the front pools. It does book up quick.

The south sites are big and open but the Little river complex is for 18+, so its a longer walk to get to a pool for the kids.

The place is large, you can do a nice morning walk right in the campgroud.

We have stayed at Paradise park, it is a nice campground and walking distance to the beach, and shops. They offer shuttle service that you purchase a ticket for. They had good fishing ponds. I would not stay in the front section they are crammed together. And if your looking at a camper that size ask for a sight in the back. I liked it there and would go back.
