Percy Quin State Park, McComb Mississippi

We recently made it back from Percy Quin state park in Mississippi and absolutely loved it. We would definately suggest to anyone looking to get away to a nice quiet park in Miss, this is one to definately try out. Full hookups at all sites, nice bath houses, boat launch, plenty of room for the kiddos to ride bikes, small but nice roped off swimming area, decent fishing, and a nice golf course on property for you golfers out there. They also have a swimming pool on site, but I believe there is a small fee to use it. (We never left from our camper - you can't leave a view like that) Bar-b-q pits and picnic tables at every site, plenty of shade, and I didn't feel that we were on top of our neighbors. They also have cabin rentals which is great for those family members that want to tag along for a weekend. The park is pretty easy to get reservations on RA, but good luck getting in on a holiday. Easy access from the interstate (2 minutes from exit) and there is a Love's truck stop at that exit which makes it easy for topping off with fuel before heading home.

10 minutes from Wal-Mart - because we all know that there is always a need for something from wal-mart.

Greatest ammenity IMO - Jayco dealer and service center 10-12 minutes from the park. (Bus Supply Company)

We will definately be back later this year.

Looks a whole lot nicer than Roosevelt SP where we spent a couple of nights last month.
