Sometimes I talk to myself, but this is the first time I've ever written a reply to me...

We prefer back in sites. Our trailer has a big rear window, and usually the visual out the back of a back in site is better that that of a pull through site. Also, often back in sites offer more privacy due to vegetation. I find pull through sites more difficult to get into, as often the curve of the pull through is so short that placing the trailer is difficult for me.

I checked "Back In", but my real choice is "No Preference". However, back in sites are usually cheaper and I'm comfortable with backing with a trailer, hence the reason for my vote.

We often tandem tow with my boat bring up the rear. Pull through allows me to park without dropping off the boat.

I prefer back in because of privacy. also a lot of back in sites are easier to park in than pull through sites. especially if you have a long trailer.

I stay almost exclusively in state park campgrounds, where almost all sites are back-in. Those few that are pull-thru's generally are more "open" sites at the ends of loops. I enjoy the privacy of a back-in. My new Eagle has a back window, so now I can also enjoy the view of the lake, etc. out the back of a back-in site.

Most pull-through sites I've seen in CGs are too tight together for our preference. With driveways on 2-sides, foot and vehicle traffic seems more likely at pull-throughs....

YMMV

I agree. The other issue is that at Local/State/National parks where we usually stay there are very few pullthrough sites relative to back-in.

I need one more choice. Doesn't matter. I don't care either way. I have a x17z and is no problem to back-in. I have only done one drive through and that was nice.

I like the back in sites, I feel like you have more privacy than the a pull through. Probably not true in all cases but mostly true.

i have only done back in sites and i dont mind with my wife as a guide ... was a little concerned though with the new one being 39 foot pull behind but it backs fine and has a nice pivot point just had to get walkie talkies for me and the wife cause its too far to see her hand signals now lol

I will take a pull through if given the option simply because I have such a hard time backing my 35' Designer into a tight space. It takes forever just to get the crew cab long bed to start turning, let alone the fiver.

My sites are all pull through because I rarely ever stay in RV parks.. The boondocking places I go are drive up drive away... LOL
