My favorite by FAR is Silver Summit RV Park in Silverton CO. Looks right onto Kendal Mountain and you get to see the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Train everyday.
Second is Angel Fire RV Resort in Angel Fire NM. This place is huge, I want to say it has around 80 or so site, all paved with cement pads and all of them with full hookups. Beautiful scenery, the only downside is that it is not walking distance to the actual town. So in order to visit town, you will need to bring a toad if you have a class C or A.
My third favorite place is Moab UT. I always stay at the Canyonland RV Park in the middle of town, but I would not say I would go to Moab just for the campground. To me that park is a little tight, has many cottonwood trees which causes you to clean out your AC's every couple days, and the management staff is not mean per se, but I guess just not personable. (Note that the facility crew is awesome...just seems to be the managers that have issues.) I go to Utah though more for the trail aspect than the campground aspect though so that is how I justify it.
