Reservations ?

Hello all, leaving S.Fla. next week . Heading up to Ashville, NC area with no reservations. I just want to go on the fly and see what happens. Anyone else out there traveling this way (no reservations ) , I'd love to hear your experiences , good , bad or ugly . Thanks

I never makes reservations while in transit. Only for some destination spots. There is an App on the iPad thats called "Allstays". It list all campgrounds and phone # across the country. We call ahead for availability when we get close. Is the best source of info. that I've found. Unless its a holiday weekend, you shouldn't have a problem.

Allstays app is the one I use all the time. When I'm planing my trip and I hit a camp site it tells me how many miles I am from my current location to the next one. Makes it real easy for calculating my 300 miles or 6 hr. day drives.

Thanks for your replies.. I downloaded the Allstays app and it looks like a winner. Leaving in two days ,no reservations.... can't wait to see how it goes .
