Route Help in Myrtle Beach

Heading out to Lakewood in Myrtle Beach for 2 weeks on Friday. We go every year, and no matter what time we get there (noon or 5pm), the last 3-5 miles on 544 is brutal with traffic.

Is there another way to come into Myrtle Beach to bypass that traffic?

Where are you getting off I-95?

I wish I knew the name of the road where we get off, but it brings you in down by the new Wal-Mart, gas been great for us, but I just can't remember where we turn. Also, not sure if there is a cutoff time for arrival, but we've done some late night arrivals in the past with much success as well

31 to Harrelson Blvd by the airport over to 17 bus. Went from Lakewood campsite to airport today and it took about 15 min. I am not sure how to get to Harrelson from 31
