Yes. I have stayed there for a week last year. It is a pretty nice park. It gets good reviews and I would also give it a good review. Do you have any specific questions? I don't know what you have, but we stayed in site 32. I would highly recommend this spot if you can reserve it. Full hookups right on a lake with a ton of room. A little tight getting around in that section of park with the trees, but I got my 32BHDS in without any problem. They have a few great parks for the kids, pool, horseshoes, etc.

In 1972, one of our first trips. . Drove back for a quick visit in 2014, still looks nice.

We stayed a week last winter. Not to crowded in the winter in the park. We chose a lot under some trees, nice spot. They also have pull through in the open areas. Just a few miles from the rapid transit that travels all over San Diego. Drops you off at a lot of areas tourists like to visit. Really a great way to get around. Santee also is a nice town. Will go back again sometime. Get there in the daylight. We missed the main entrance in the dark and were lucky we ran into a park host to get us in.

We just checked it out two weeks ago. We were staying at the KOA in San Diego and checked out a few other parks in the area. We have family down there and go down once a year or so. It is a nice park and kept pretty clean. Dirt pads but look level, it looked like it was a decent park. Remember we did not stay there but checked it out for future visits and looked at all the thing that are important to us. It is a ways out of San Diego to be doing the tourist thing. Out of five parks we looked at, one of them the KOA we stayed at We will be staying at the same KOA next trip. It comes down to what your looking for If you wanted a camping experience and planned on staying put Santee would be great place. If you are going to be checking out San Diego and doing the tourist thing I personally will be staying at the KOA. Santee is like camping it gives you that feel and looks like a great place. I will not mention the other parks in San Diego because they are just big concrete parking lots cramped together. They may be close to the water but so is Walmart parking lot. As for KOA really clean, concrete pads, trees and grass. It is about 15-20 min to all the major attractions. If you like family KOA this is a nice one. If you like the camping experience Santee is the place. I would stay at Santee no problem if just wanting to get away or go camping.
