seeking nice site in Algonquin park canada

When i was a kid our family went to algonquin park in canada. Now want to take the wife and kids to a non electric secluded site on the water site for canoeing and fishing. We cannot find out what park we stayed at. There is a great website to m
ake reservations but you know how it is. When you see a campsite on a mapit is not quite what you hoped for. We will be traveling form buffalo ny so want to stay at the southern part of the park. If anyone knows of a nice park with a private site for our X17z i would appreciate it thanks

Mew lake has some non electric secluded site on the water. By secluded I mean you are still visible from the campground road ad you can see through the brush to the next site, but there is a lot of cover. Use ONTARIOPARKS.com to make your reservation. A lot of sites have pictures on the website.

Thanks for the reply. Have you been to algonquin? I have been on ontario park site. Do i understand there are only 2rv dump stations on all of hwy 60? One at rock l
ake and one on the hwy km post? 35 or so. I am use to ny state parks + thre are dumps a5 every park. Are there lines at these 2 dumps? I can not imagine all those sites in the parks + a line of rv's to dump. I' ve read a lot and am willng to drive 5 hrs but am worried about full tank driving. We are thinking of staing at rock lake closer to a dump. 5hanks 4 any insight jeff...fron
