Sites near Fairchild AFB

Our son is getting stationed at Fairchild AFB near Spokane WA in the spring. Besides the FamCamp on base, what other camp sites are close by that allow pets? We have two labs that love to travel with us and we are trying to plan a trip to see them once they settle in.

Can't really help, except to say I was stationed at Fairchild about 15 years ago, and the FamCamp was pretty lame - very small and not sure if there were even any hookups.

And not sure what their rules are, but since you are not dependents, you may not be able to use the FamCamp.

There are several sites that provide lots of information but I really like this one. When used in conjunction with Google Maps or route planning, you can glean a lot of info.

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to mention that I am retired AF so I have full access to any miltary installation. Guess we will look it over during our first visit there. Not in the mood to haul tt 9 hrs just to find out the place is not that nice.
