We always stay at LAKELAND because we have family living there. This is next door to the PIRATELAND and the kids over there seems to be having a great time. All of the inland lakes have the PIRATE themes... Everyone we have talked to staying there with kids has nothing but praise ???

My choice down that way would be Huntington STATE PARK... You camp up under the trees and have have full run of the beaches...

Camping North of Pirateland/Lakewood group of camp sites gets you into the flight path of the Myrtle Beach Airport. Big planes coming in with landing gear down and smiley faces of the pilots sometimes gets your attention... If you wave at them they sometimes wave back... The MB airport is just a block off the Ocean.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park is a very well managed park, right on the beach.
Been going there for many years, on problems, ever.
