Texas Motor Speedway infield camping, Firestone 600

I,m wanting info on camping the infield for the Firestone 600. Where's the best place to find someone selling a spot for one weekend? Not looking to buy a PSL, just buy one weekend of camping in the infield.

Thanks in advance,
Tim

I searched the Dallas / Ft Worth area and found one on Craigslist without a lot of effort. Might be worth a look. I would expect more to become available as the NASCAR boys look to sell off their sites to Indy fans once the date gets a little closer. Don't forget to check Stub Hub and places like that, too. I've bought NASCAR camping passes on there in the past.

Thanks for the feedback SparkDr. I'll check Stub Hub and Craigslist. Can I ask how much you spent? I was thinking between $500-$1,500?

Thanks,
Tim

You shouldn't have to spend near that much for the June weekend.

I may go in June. I haven't decided yet. If I do go, I'll be in my spot in Lone Star Circle on the east side of the track.

Thanks etex211. My sons at OSU in Stillwater. We are trying to have a dad son weekend, and I really want to stay infield this trip. I had a blast camping outside turn three a few years back. Thanks again, Tim

I agree. You should be able to pay $500 or less for the Indy race. I paid $1000+ for NASCAR.
