2-3 Hours due west from Chicagoland area in the Mississippi.
Site 40 - Walkup Only, it's not on their Reserve America map because you cannot reserve it.
Fishing from your camp spot and moving water and wind!
If anyone lives in the area it's a great place to camp!
We've been going here a couple years and usually stay at sites 92 91 90 and 89. We changed it up since it was only our trailer and a couple friends staying with us this time.
The pictures are from site 40.
**Tip!** Avoid the Hickory Point part of the campground in the summer because it is pretty crazy buggy. Would be nice in the fall or early early spring though.
