Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Nova Scotia?
We originally planned to do a 2 week trip through Utah. We've decided to scrap those plans and head East for 10 days in mid July. Kids want lobster, and it sounds like a good idea to us!
We've been to Acadia previously. We may go back there for a couple days.
But what is there of interest in New Hampshire, Vermont, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward island?
We generally visit State and National Parks and hike, bike and kayak.
What do you recommend?

One web site for NH, www.VisitNH.gov, another is visit-newhampshire.com. Lots of things for families and kids to do. Outlet stores in Conway, nice campgrounds throughout the state, kid stuff like Ruggles mine, Polar Caves, Santa'sVillage, etc.

We've done Maine, NH and Vermont.
I would focus on Maine and NH. Was disappointed with Vermont myself.
White Mountains, Kangamanga Hwy is very nice along with Mt. Washington. Conway is very scenic. I like along the coast of Maine. Acadia and Freeport area. LL Bean is in Freeport and a couple nice state parks nearby and along the coast. Sebago lakes area is nice too. Might look at this site for place in Maine.

OMG.. There's not enough room to list all the great attractions in New England!! I don't know where you're starting from but the NH shore is beautiful, then swing up to Maine for the lobster. We're in Kennebunkport this week staying at the Red Apple Campground (you won't be disappointed). Arcadia sounds terrific for a couple of days then up to the Maritines. They will be beautiful in July. Good luck!

Consider Jo Mary Campground near Millinocket. Most tourers stay on the coast but inland North Maine Woods is beautiful a world all its own. It matters if you want full service or boondock.
Skip Acadia. We just went there for a couple of days. All booked up and the crowds are horrific. You want lobster and scenery..head to Cobscook Bay State Park near Lubec. Never crowded and our own little public secret. No hookups however
You can head to Cape Breton in Nova Scotia but its busy there in July too.
A word of warning. It is hard to cover more than 300 miles in a day in New England in the parts you are considering. Most roads are country and not high speed. If you do want to go from say Ogunquit to Acadia use the turnpike ( 95). It will take you otherwise 8 hours to do that trip with summer traffic. Avoid Wiscasset at all costs and dont think Reds is the god of Lobster. All tourists do and thats why the traffic. Its way overpriced.
Freeport!!! In July? Your only hope is to shop late in the evening do not bring a RV into town. Never on a rainy day. Winslow Park is a nice local campground as is Recompense Shores. The former run by the town of Freeport and the latter by Wolfe Neck Farms . Both in Freeport.
I live 35 minutes north of Freeport near Sebago Lake. We leave Maine for Northern Ontario each July. The State Park has isolated dates available. Nice lake with sandy beach. Yes we have lobster inland.
Another super state park is Lily Bay on Moosehead Lake.
The campsites tend to be tight for an RV over 25 feet in the NPS campgrounds and White Mountains. This is forest country.. and if you want full hookups you should reserve ahead .. what we saw is that those campgrounds seem to be booked ( and wicked expensive) Much camping here is boondocking.

Have to say that is a good idea now... Utah has a number of major fires in the popular RV areas of the state.
