Anybody have experience camping here? We are former tent campers booking our trips for this summer. We are used to finding the most secluded, tree lined spots we could get when we tent camped. Hoping to still get as much of that feel as we can in a 32' travel trailer.

Specifically, we are looking at the sites in the 80's. They are on a very short dead end spur off the main loop. Lots of trees. Should be very little traffic. Description says moderate slope, but ok for vehicles up to 55' and slide outs.

Anybody ever stayed at any of these sites? Or any advice on sites with nice tree coverage, and not much cross traffic. (It's nice to turn the kids loose on their bikes, without needing constant vigilance.)

Thanks!

I am going there tomorrow. I have camped there for >50 years. I think those sites are shallow, hill at rear. I would suggest 190-204 in Area B. I also like the sites around 150, that's where I will be located.
Camp ground A is probably 75 years old and road very narrow around far end. You can get locked between trees with a 24ft.
It's a great campground, one of my favorites. My maiden voyage will be there tomorrow, kind of a ritual lol.
If you need any additional info, send me a PM and I will call you once I am on site tomorrow.

Best regards,
Doug

Thanks for the great info. Our plan b was the 109-115 area, which appears to be right across from 150.

We thought those might have a little less traffic than the sites in the 200's.

Have a great trip.

Yep, your plan B should be good. Those are great sites.
I tend to stay away from tree line to the woods. Wife doesn't like bug spray, so sometimes it makes it easier on her.
I always stayed in Area A with a pop up or 16'.
Campground B is probably 15 years old now and saplings are looking going in the interior. It used to be primitive with just bare fields in center.
Bath houses are much nicer and newer in area B.

Cheers,
Doug
