What CG's do you like to stay at in the Branson, MO. area?

We are planning a trip to Branson, MO in the summer of 2014 and I was wondering if anyone had a favorite CG. My parents have a house in Forsyth, MO and I considered staying somewhere near there, but I appreciate everyone's opinion.

We stayed at a city owned CG that was near the dam of Table Top Lake. It was very nice. Centrally located and very reasonable priced as I recall. Nothing out of the ordinary but would go there again.

There are several COE campgrounds in the area. We stayed at Old Hwy 61 (I think the name is right) south of Branson. We would go back.

Just came back from Branson. We stayed at Silver Dollar City's "Wilderness" campground. It was a nice park with cable and WIFI. Brother in Law took me around the COE campgrounds since they had just reopened after the shutdown, and they were very nice. They have been upgrading them for the last few years. Already looking into spending our vacation at Old HWY 86 campground next year.

We go to Branson three to four times a year to go to table rock lake to go boating so we always stay close to the water. We really like the COE at Indian point, it's close to silver dollar city but away from all the traffic in Branson and a easy drive to get to from springfield taking highway 13/160 through nixa and not burning up the transmission or brakes on 65 going through the hills. 65 is a lot better with the new highway but hate all the traffic passing you at 80 and your going 50-55 up the hills. We have stayed at Lakeview campground a few times when Indian point was full its on the same road just private owned it was nice also. It just depends on what you want to do be close to down town and hear all the traffic at night or enjoy the outdoors. If you have kids or not you have to take them to Billy Gail's cafe on state highway 265 for breakfast it will be there high light of the trip getting a jumbo pancake and a toy. One pancake will feed 3 kids. It's your life is easy backwoods cafe you don't find in the city and very affordable to treat the family out.

I'd stay at any of the campgrounds on Table Rock Lake.

Jelly stone in Forsyth is great clean and nice. Gary the owner has great customer service I use to stay there when it was a KOA. Nice distance from all the commercial touristy stuff.
