Hooking up two generators

Good morning once again all! I've turned to the trusty advice of you all on here. Here's the deal, living in Alaska requires quite a bit of boondocking, especially while hunting. So after a trip up north to our bear bait over Memorial Day weekend my wife decided that we needed to get another Yamaha ef2000is, in order to run the AC. It was our intention to do this anyway. I like the compact size, I can secure in the storage compartment and my 9 year old can move em and start em. My question is this, since the dealer didn't give me the manual for the Twintech cables, when I hook these two generators together am I required to turn off the Eco switch? The reason I ask is because I'm wondering how they'll work in tandem if they have to idle up to create more power. Just don't want to screw up $2k in Gens or anything in the TT. Thanks again folks!

I use two of the Yamaha ef2000is generator together with the Twintech cables allowing me to connect my 30A plug in. I have put both generators in the eco mode with no problems using the AC. When the AC kicks on the generators automatically recognize the need for added power and idle up to meet the need and idles back down when the AC kicks off. Works the same with any other electrical draw in the trailer if added power is needed from the generator.

I inserted a link to a site that helps explain the generator. Here is a quote from the link, "The EF2000iS is also exceptionally fuel efficient – in economy mode, it can run continuously for up to 10.5 hours on a single tank of fuel. And with Yamaha’s Smart Throttle Load feature, the generator automatically adjusts the engine speed to match the load, resulting in both less noise and greater overall fuel efficiency."

I have never seen the YAMAHA hookup in use...

Looks pretty simple in the video linked to here... Just plug the SIDEWINDER parallel cable to each generator unit and then plug your 30AMP Shore power cable in to the 30AMP plug provided with the sidewinder cable...

YAMAHA SAYS The Twin Tech Cables have a twist and lock receptacle, a heavier cable, and reduce Radio Frequency (RF) interference. The parallel power cables have a simple RV receptacle. So, if anything you are powering has wireless technology (including your radio) you will gain benefit with the Twin Tech Cables vs the Parallel Power Cables.

For me I wouldn't think there would be much difference. The Parallel Power Cable has the RV30AMP female receptacle where you can plug the 30A shore power cable directly into the adapter cord. The TWIN TECH cable having the twist lock receptacle will require you to obtain an adapter cord I guess.
