How bad will it smell?
Hypothetically speaking, how bad will my trailer smell if I would leave the black water tank partially full for say 3-4 weeks? Chemicals are in the tank and probably 10 gal of water.

I don't think you would want to find out.

We have a trailer semi-permanently parked with no sewer hook up that we.empty with a macerator pump when it gets full. We have gone 10 weeks or more and the smell is not overwhelming in the trailer.
Actually, the bathroom smells bad because the water in the bathtub pea trap evaporates letting the stink from the gray water enter the air. We fill the pea tral asap when we get to the campground.
With some chemicals in the tank, you should be fine. Just add a lot of water before dumping.

Well, my experience is that your trailer would not have any bad smell at all.
I leave my black tank with fluid in it (deliberately) all the time and there is no odor inside my trailer from the black tank. Leaving fluid in the tank helps, I think, to keep solids from solidifying in the tank. And traveling with a partly full tank helps to keep stuff from sticking to the tank walls as the fluid sloshes around.
The only time I drain my black tank completely is for winerization.

As others say, don't worry. as long as the toilet has water in it liquids in the tank may help rather than hurt.
add a little anti freeze to the drain traps and it may keep them sealed while you are gone for long periods.

our S&B is sometimes empty for months. We pour some vegetable oil in the drains to stop evaporation of the water in the p-trap. Has worked well for us.

I live in my RV 200+ days a year and go 4 weeks between black tank dumps with no problems.. as long as I don't run the bathroom fan.

As long as your vents are clear and traps are full you won't get any smells from the tanks.

Murf 1 cup of vegetable oil in the trap works wonders.. it does not evaporate and if you take navy type showers it will let the water pass through and the oil will stay in the trap

One trick that we learned is to pour a half-cup of the RV antifreeze or cooking oil over the toilet flap if the tank is going to sit partially full for an extended period. Neither evaporate as quickly as water, and this will maintain the seal, keeping odors from sneaking past a seal where the water has evaporated.

Except during the frozen wither months, you should always keep water in your black tank. I try for 5 gallons which is about 10% of my BK tank volume. The water keeps everything from drying up rock solid.
For the past, few years, I have also been adding a couple gallons of water down my grey tank after dumping. The tank seams much healthier.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to go camping since 4th of July and probably will be at least a few weeks before we can go again. The HTT has been closed tight. I was in it last night not a single scent.
During the winter months after I antifreeze everything well, I drop a teaspoon or two of mineral oil down each trap and toilet bowl. In the spring the traps and toilet is still full of antifreeze.
