W.O.W! That is gorgeous. Looks like an advertisement. Is that a campground or are you allowed to park wherever you want out there?

No campgrounds.
That first picture is in WY on national forest land literally within 75 yards of the Grand Teton National Park boundary. Just off the edge of the tote road in an area where camping is allowed. Have to know where to go to get away from the crowds in that area around Yellowstone. Most people probably would be nervous pulling a trailer that size in to this spot...

The other is Alabama hills in CA. Open camping in that area. Some small campgrounds down the road a few miles.

Just looked up Alabama Hills. About 4 hours from us and I've never heard of it! Going to put that on my list. Feel free to PM me the "secret" spots.

Camping 4 nights last weekend at China Beach in Juan De Fuca Provincial Park. It's near Port Renfrew, BC on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The second picture is Botanical Beach in the same area. It's know for its amazing tide pools in the lava rock and sandstone.

No hookups, but at least an asphalt pad

Boondocking/Sniping gophers :)

Well one of my favourite pastimes up in central Alberta is to take my son out to shoot gophers. Here is the spot I set up at. It is a chunk of land I have been going to for many many years. I usually mow the grass a couple of times a year but haven't had a chance yet.

Northeast Alabama near Cedar Bluff. This was a few weeks ago but a family emergency cut the trip short. Heading back tomorrow - hope it's still there!
No utilities; just Bill Murray.

Rollins Pond SP, Adirondacks NY. Nice sites (80% waterfront) no hookups, but flush toilets, central showers and fill and dump stations.

This was our final trip with our pup before the HTT:
