Seann,

Do you use the fan in your Big Buddy heater while boondocking? It appears that most do not and I imagine it would use a decent amount of juice with the AC adapter through an inverter.

The big buddy uses D batteries.. I rigged a 12 volt to 6?? I think it was plug with the big buddy end on it ... draws very little power.. However this last Jan I stopped using the fan... it heats well enough with out it.. and the less noise the better.

Thanks! I was hoping we could get by without the fan! It seems like researching around, most don't need it but I was curious about your experience since your trailer is similar in size to mine.
