Can't believe I missed this thread!
DW thinks Boondocking is going somewhere in the trailer that doesn't have sewer hookup! LOL!
Personally, I'm happy to throw on the 'ol pack and hike off a day or two into the back country and find a stream or lake with some fish. See ALL the stars, breathe the clean air, not hear another human voice for a week, or only those few with you, not hear a motor, or see an artificial light other than a small flashlight. That's always been "camping" to me.
Now, it's true, I don't miss worrying about my next water source or digging cat holes, but some things are just worth it sometimes.
With all that being said, I LOVE my trailer, and I proudly wear the "glamping" badge! There's a lot to be said for a warm/cool place to lay my head at night, and a fridge full of my favorite foods with a magnificent view right outside, and a hot cup of coffee easily at hand when I wake up in the morning.
So the way I see it, so long as I'm out there, I'm livin' the good life. I've camped and glamped and made memories all the way up and down the scale, and I wouldn't trade a single one of those moments for anything.
