Where to dump?

Hello Boondockers,
We've been on the road a little over a week (8 more to go) and our suspicions were confirmed.... We're boondockers.
We try to get camp sites but have stayed in the odd RV park when we arrive late to full campgrounds.
We mostly use the vault toilets in the campgrounds but do use some of the trailer's facilities.
So where do you dump when there's no dump station? Do truck stops have them? Do RV parks let you pay to use there's?
Thanks for your help.

When we boondock, we dump tanks for a small fee ($25) at a nearby (7 miles away) campground.

I've also dumped tanks at a county park that includes campsites. $10 back in 2011.

Sanidumps has a website and app that also lists dumps sites available (also in Canada).

Many public and private parks will let you dump for a fee. Our local county park charges $9.00. It's a bargain.
Some flying J's have dump stations.

Some states used to have them at selected rest areas but the slobs ruined it for the rest of us and they are now closed.

I've seen a few city visitor centers that have a sani dump, might be worth watching out for.

My limited experience is that our NY State campgrounds and most larger campgrounds allow RV's to dump for a fee, or often free if you camped with them. With their sticker and license plate logo holder visible the dealership we bought our trailer from lets us dump whenever we want. I find that convenient.

This site has some listings by state.

Many truck stops in the US have dump stations, not sure about Canada. Check their websites for a listing of locations with this service.

A nearby (to me) state rest area has a dump station, apparently free, as there are no signs directly folks to check inside first.

Several of the rest areas in WA state have free dump stations and fresh water fill. It's part of what we pay taxes for, evidently, 'cause nothin's free!

I think all the State parks with dump stations allow dumping for a fee, too. Just checked and the fee is $5.

One of the RV dealers not far from where we live has a dump station right in their parking lot. We've never used it so I don't know the details about it, but I have seen it being used in the past, just driving by.

Dump stations can be found in the strangest of places. In my town the Adventist church has one, $5 fee on the honor system. I am not a member of their church, way to many vices for them, but I'll happily pay them $5.

City muni yard has one too, it free, but only open M-F 8-4.

Thanks everyone. That I'd really helpful. We lucked out and found one in Grand Canyon NP near Mather. It was free too.

In Michigan, you can dump at any state park with dump facilities for no additional charge, however you must have a "recreation passport" for the vehicle towing the rv and/or motor home. Prices very for instate, out of state and seniors if im not mistaken. I pay $11 a year for a passport on each of my vehicles.

I can't remember where we were, Baraboo Wisconsin maybe, but the city's waste water treatment plant had a dump station. I've heard of other cities with them also.

Prince Albert, SK Canadian Tire has a dump and fresh water station. We usually are in the store buying stuff anyway. As someone above mentioned, you find them in the oddest places. One place I worked at, the town foreman just took a couple of us over to a manhole and lifted the small cover. Let 'er go!
