I wish i were retired with a new 36 foot jayco 5th wheel and a new f350 diesel, and I was campgroundhost at a Corps of Engineer lake.
Cant get any better than that.

Since I seem to be on a roll here posting wise let me add this: Don't be in too big a hurry to retire, the time will pass all too quick and then you'll find yourself asking where in the world all the time went.

I think I could give work camping a try. But unfortunately Im still full-time working as it is.

Perhaps by the time we are full-timing, and I'm retired. But actually I'd have to fall into a situation where I could stay since I have "no" plans for towing.

My wife and I are teachers so we have the summer off-- I wonder if these camp hosts are allowed to bring a child.

Ah Yes .... Finding the "perfect" land boat and the muscle to pull it. (in that order).
There are places I'd luv to experience, especially in a fully loaded fifth. Pehaps I'd find a place I wont mind calling home for awhile, with a view.

But since we are both working with no end in sight, and have a very nice used Jayco at a camp resort an hour from our mail box, I can't really complain.

But a nice rig sitting in the woods with a view of some mountains and perhaps a lake, well ..... better grab the fishing pole ..... location, location, location....

There's something about the "A"s that don't appeal to me.
I believe that there is a fifth whl in our future. Whether we tow or not is another story. If we were retired I'd consider towing.
