We have our rig, and we've got Carefree awnings. Do you think it would work?

I say I could make it work, others are a little leery. I have never installed one on a Carefree, so I can't say for sure. There is a bolt / screw on each arm where the bracket could be installed, and that's why I don't see why it wouldn't work. All I have done is study the carefree design on other rigs. So far though, nobody with a Carefree has been willing to take the plunge. From what I keep reading on some of the Carefree structure failures in wind, they need this set up.

Hey John. So, I dropped off the map due to grandbaby arriving, and work being stupid.

Anyway, we are still wanting to get a kit, if you have any available. We're both fairly handy, and willing to take the plunge to try it, and get pix back to you after.

We go for an 8 day trip to the Keys next month, and the wind never stops there!

Let me go check the shop in the morning and I'll PM you. I think I still have 1 or 2 sets. I'm assuming you have the 9100 awning.

I read Youngsville on your location and thought it might have been Youngsville, LA. Would have drove down and installed them for you if it would have been LA. Don't think I could make the NC trip for an install.

LOL, yeah NC would be a bit of a drive!

Great, let me know. Any pix showing them installed will help us.

Ok, just sold a set and maybe have my last set sold. SO, here's the deal. I contacted my friend that builds them. He's getting out of making them, for good. BUT, he still has 25 sets. After they're gone, that's it. You will never find any of these anywhere, unless of course someone else has a cnc, builds a jig and starts making them. SO, if I can get 5 committed buyers, I'll get and ship them. If not, this thread will pretty much be done.

Last Chance.
