Wanted - small trailer
I'm looking for a small (17' - 18' range) trailer for quick overnight/weekend trips. I'm not interested in a pop up trailer or a trailer with slide out tents on the ends. If you have something like this and you're considering getting rid of, let me know.
Thanks

Good luck with your search. That's what I was shopping for when I fell for my 19RD.
Be careful, "small and no slides" meant no other niceties: 2 burner stove, no oven, wall mount A/C, no TV, smallish bed, cramped bathroom, single axle, small water tanks....
Again, I hope you find what will work for you!

If you find it ask them if they have 2. That's what I want too.

We've toyed with the idea of selling ours that's shown in the signature below. It has no slides or pop-outs but the length might be more than you want. Plus, we're quite a ways from you both. Let me know if you want more info. Thanks

We have a 2016 Jayflight 195RB that we bought about 6 months ago. We have ordered a Whitehawk 23MRB, so this one needs to go. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks for the responses guys.
Desert RVers and Rv8apilot your trailers are very nice, but would probably not work because they are to new and would bust the budget. Good luck to both of you, I'm sure you'll find a buyer.
I'm looking for something 5 - 10 years old, and I don't mind a few minor problems that need to be fixed.

My first tt was a 17' Prowler. I learned a lot owning that trailer and had some great times. My current one is over twice that length.
They tend to get bigger.,

Your best bet would be watching Craig's List.

I've done that. There are lots of scam postings. I chased a couple of the ads until I realized what was actually happening. Fortunately, I didn't fall for any of their B/S and didn't loose any money. I think I'll stay away from Craig's List and just look at legit RV dealers and RV forums.

Have you looked at Rpods by Forest River on RV Trader? They are small (17 ft. - 21 ft.), come in many floor plans and the Rpod Owner's Forum sometimes has them for sale by owner when members are thinking to sell. They're pretty inexpensive but of good quality - you could probably find an old one pretty cheap. We had one and loved it.

You might search for RV Trader for Scamp, Pod or Casita all specialize in small units.

We are also looking for a smaller TT, as we park the EAGLE on a seasonal site on a creek in Hiawassee GA. The problem with a lot of JAYCO and other mfr is that they did not make the smaller TT with the 6'2' guy in mind.
I am thinking about a fiberglass unit (like the Casita) and doing a belly cut raising the top portion by 6". Yes, I know.... but I love a good challenge, especially those that would cost me next to nothing. The OLIVER, believe it or not, has sufficient head room on the one that I looked at, but $$$$$$$$$.
Still looking... may buy a class "C", but they do not have the EcoBoost in them yet.
Don

I was just going to say what Mustang65 said. I'm 6'4 and had no other choice but to go full size! And even at that, some floor plans just don't work for me... I spent the last week staying in my brother-in-laws 32TSBH and while it's a nice unit, the entertainment center is flush with the foot of the RV length queen... a 35' trailer can't even accommodate a tall guy!
The 19RD or 198RD Swift is the shortest full profile Jay Flight they make. I bought one before my current trailer. For a single guy or a couple it's perfect on all levels for your criteria.
This what I have learened:
Big Guy = Big Trailer = Big Truck

You're in Texas?
Buy a Casita.
