I look at a purchase of a BATTERY from the perspective of:

- True Deep cycle (Not a Hybrid)
- Lifecycle,
- A GOOD National Distribution setup (for replacing defective batteries on the road ASAP)
- A good product warranty
- $$$$,
- Dealer support
- Customer Support.

If I have to a choice between, Crown, USBattery, or a Trojan battery (all top of the line batteries), and they all are 260Ah rated, if they have the same Lifecycle, a good national distribution setup (replace defective batteries) and if they have GREAT support, then it is only a decision on who has the best price. What good is a GREAT $$$$ deal when you do not have access to an immediate replacement of a defective battery.

HandyBob has his opinions on a lot of things, you just need to take his opinions and research them, just like you do for any other opinions you hear. Guaranteed, you will not agree on all of them.

12Volt vs 6Volt Trojan Battery Comparison

I checked today and the Battery Plus store has T105s for $107. He said if I wanted more than 2 he would cut me an even better deal.
Only downside is a $33 core charge if you don't have a 6v to recycle. And if you are replacing a 12v they only give you half credit.

So for me that's basically going to be $140 ea plus tax.
