15amp to 30 amp adapter Cautionary tale..

So I lost all my 110v. input to my Greyhawk Class C 29mv...
But this could happen to any RV....
I could not figure out why my Onan GenSet would give me 110v. power into my rig, but plugging into shore power, or hooking up my Honda 2000 to get power to my rig gave me nothing...and I was dry camping and wished to use the Honda to charge batteries...and when I got home, still no shore power from connecting to my home outlet...
Moral of this story after tracing everything down with help from my friend Don Hopper, whom is very electrical savvy, the 15 to 30 adapter was burned up, and a dog-leg heavy duty type fixed my problem...
If you have one of those little adapters, toss them and get a good heavy duty adapter---happy camping

When it comes to electrical stuff I tend to buy the best quality I can as well as the most heavy duty for the application....

yes, a "dog bone", my adapter was a squat little 2-3 " inch plug, used it for years, but moral of story they are problematic at best.....
